Marta founded Fuero in 2011 after eight years in the immigration practice of a large Madrid firm, where most of her clients were foreign and most of the paperwork was in a language they could not read. She built the firm around a simple rule: every lawyer works in two languages, every fee is written down before the work starts, and the client always knows who is in charge of their matter.
She leads the immigration and residency practice and still files applications herself. Her work covers investor and digital nomad visas, work permits, family reunification and nationality, with a particular focus on executives and founders relocating to Spain with their families. She studied law at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and has a master's degree in European law from Paris.
